La Situación actual de la formación docente en áreas STEAM en el Paraguay

In view of the various educational reforms that, in recent decades, tried to adapt the needs and demands of society to the Paraguayan educational system, in most cases they were not effective in teaching practice. This descriptive study is based on open data from the Ministry of Education and Sciences (MEC), regarding the total number of practicing teachers by department in Middle School (MS). Descriptive research will be adapted with the aim of identifying the total number of MS teachers in relation to the number of them who have a degree that enables them to teach each type of subject and, of these, those who have a degree compatible with any subject of STEAM areas (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics), which they are teaching.
