Technological intervention in the learning process of the Centro Educativo Mineros de Zacatecas

Abstract

Currently, education has been immersed in important transformations regarding the way of carrying out the teaching-learning processes, in addition to this, a necessary modification is presented due to the Covid-19 health emergency, which requires to find attractive strategies that give results for learning. For this reason, technological tools have been taken as the main tools, making it necessary to know which and of what type are the appropriate ones to accompany and strengthen this process in students from 1st to 4th grade of primary school in the subject of English, for this, worked with nineteen basic education students from the Centro Educativo Mineros de Zacatecas, under a descriptive quantitative methodology and, at the same time, an instrument was designed and applied in Google Forms, from which the data obtained was concentrated and analyzed in the statistical program SPSS for its interpretation. The results highlight that it seemed important to them to include technological tools as support in carrying out various school activities. It is concluded that the tools Gcompris, Kahoot, eXeLearning, emaze and Family and Friends are extremely important in the teaching-learning process, providing innovation, developing skills to improve the four macro skills of the second foreign language, English, and others that they arise with the interaction itself
